Ann Whittington Wendlick is an artist, graphic designer, website designer, and surface pattern designer. She’s been a life-long resident of Bourbonnais, Illinois and lives just blocks from the beautiful Perry Farm walking trails, Indian Caves and the Kankakee River. She loves the amazing landscape scenes around her Midwest town and gets much of her artistic inspiration from them.
She’s always been creative and studied graphic design at Eastern Illinois University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, she worked as a graphic designer at a hospital before starting her own freelance graphic and web design business, which she ran for over 25 years.
She loves creating and experimenting with all different art mediums, techniques, and styles. Her favorite mediums are mixed media (acrylics, acrylic inks, texture mediums, and art crayons), soft pastel, oil & cold wax, and digital surface pattern design (using Photoshop and Procreate). Her art is inspired by nature from long walks, traveling, and just constantly observing her surroundings.
